[ Pearl shook her head in response, staying quiet. She did not recognize this woman, and her mother had always told her not to talk to strangers. In the case of when she first arrived, she had to. She needed the help, and she had no idea Larry was here. How else was she to make it by in this strange new world? Heck, when she first got here, she didn't even know this was a new world! Just a different place in the world which she lived in. The only reason she didn't run away on the spot was that she was told Pokémon Centers were safe- and the group was most likely in hearing distance. If she was in trouble, she could just scream. Or use the 'gear.
Nurse Joy spoke up after the awkward silence. ]
Oh, I'm terribly sorry- I thought that since you made it this far... [ Pearl tilted her head in response. ] Err... Anyway, let me tell you how to use the PC!
[ She turned the machine on and asked Pearl to sit in the chair. She did as such, with the red-haired nurse leaning over her. ]
The PC allows you to access your personal computer from home, as well as the Pokémon Storage System. It also allows you to contact Professor Oak and ask him to check up on your PokeDex.
Computer...?- oh, Mr. Nick told me about those... But... Pokémon Storage System? Professor Oak? PokéDex? [ She looked up at the nurse with wide-eyed curiousity, who looked surprised. She attempted to elaborate. ]
The Pokémon Storage System, or Box System, is a mechanic created by "PokéManiac" Bill, which allows Trainers to store their Pokémon inside the PC so that they can be kept safe while you're out on your journey. You don't necessarily have to be a Trainer to use this system, but that is the group that has been noted to use it most frequently. Let me demonstrate.
[ She clicked on 'BILL'S PC', then on 'DEPOSIT', and placed a Pokéball on a machine, to which Pearl's knowledge, had no name. She just calls it the 'box teleport thing'. Back on subject, a question appeared on the screen. It read as follows.

Just like a ma-jii-she-an! [ She hopped up and down in her chair. Nurse Joy giggled. ] Almost! It's the decomposition, transfer, and re-composition of matter from one point to another. In this case, the center is point A, and the box system is point B. You can retrieve your Pokémon by clicking on withdraw instead of deposit, and you can get them from any place, as long as there is a PC there. You'll find them in the centers, mostly, but there are times you may find them in other places, as well, such as before you fight the Elite Four.
[ The nurse received another confused look, but just shook her head. ] It's okay, you don't have to understand it. You also wanted to know about Professor Oak, correct? [ And we're nodding! ] All right then.
Professor Oak is a Researcher and the creator of the Pokédex, less commonly known as the "Pokémon Encyclopedia". He researches everything and anything Pokémon- their habitats, diets, behavior- so his range of researcher is very vast. However, his main interest is filling out the Pokédex! New Pokémon are being discovered every day, and thus, he gives Trainers a Pokédex and sends them off on a journey so they can catch every Pokémon and help him fill out the 'dex. However, it's every Trainer's choice. Most decide to take the Gym Challenge instead. There's also-
Nurse, we need you in the examination room, ASAP! It's an emergency!
[ Turning her head, she called out, I'll be right there!, and left, waving to Pearl and apologizing for the sudden leave. The young prodigy smiled gleefully and waved goodbye, thanking her for her help. ]
... [ Pearl turned her attention toward the screen. There were two new options on the screen:

...I should get her Pokémon out of there. It must be lonely... [ With this in mind, Pearl clicked on

*Gasp!!!* [ Reacting quickly, she grabbed the egg and pulled it out, setting it in the chair just as the next was about to come- and then she grabbed that one, but the next egg reached its destination quickly and so she had to grab that one, too- and the last egg was there JUST when the third had arrived. It teetered back and forth and she yelped and attempted to gently push it back in so it wouldn't fall to the floor and turn into a bunch of giant scrambled eggs. This attempt proved to be succesful, but...
Now she couldn't move. And this made her panic. ]
B-Bouncer! Bouncer, help! [ Hearing his owner's cry for help, the Spoink snapped awake and looked around, spotting his Trainer... with her head in a machine? Okay, what is going on. He hopped over to her and saw that she was near tears, causing his expression to turn into a worried one. ]
Bouncer, I need you to go find Mr. Laurice or You-are or Bar-knee, okay? As fast as you can bounce! [ Bouncer snorted- its own way of saying 'you can count on me, chief!', and hopped away. ]
[ One of you, the three aforementioned people, may spy a bouncing pig with a pearl on its head, seeming to look for something. You might want to catch it, but it probably has an owner. If you realize this, then you should prooobably go ask it what's wrong. Your choice. Just know that there's a scared little medium back at the center, wondering what to do. ]

LOG IN and LOG OFF. Curiousity got the best of her, and she grabbed the mouse, hovering over the first option.She clicked, and it lead her to the other menu.

[ She mused. Though it meant that it wasn't as lonely for the one Chansey who got sent it, Pearly assumed that it must feel kind of stuffy in there, and decided to withdraw them anyway. One by one, she withdrew each oval shape. And then looked over to the machine. ]...
