Personality: Pearl Fey is a cheerful, innocent, very refined girl, considered to be much more mature than those her age. Most people who have met her describe her as cute. Others have claimed that she as an ‘intense stare’, which can be a bit (or, well, a lot) scary. She is a part of the branch family of the Fey clan, and has been sheltered from society by her mother, Morgan Fey. Thus, if you mention something that could be considered a normal, everyday term, such as a train or a lawyer, Pearl will have no idea what you’re talking about. However, when she does not understand something, she will ask someone she knows for an explanation- if there is no one she knows in the area, Pearl will either attempt to ask someone who seems trustworthy, or just ask for a definition another time.

In any and all situations in which she is meeting someone she does not know or recognize, she will not speak with them. Instead, Pearly will run away as quick as possible, as she was told ‘not to talk to strangers’ by her mother, Morgan Fey. It doesn’t matter if Mystic Maya, Pearl’s cousin, introduces them to her, or if you’re nice; she will still run away. It takes a long time to gain her trust, and the only (rare) exceptions to this would be to ask for directions if she is lost, but usually she’ll try to trace her way back to the Village instead of asking.

The spirit medium-in-training loves romance and could be considered a ‘hopeless romantic’; she is very sensitive when it comes to the love between two people, as evidenced by  Maya Fey, Pearl’s cousin, who mentions that the high divorce rate among the members of their clan. She adds onto this, explaining that the men of the Fey clan cannot inherit spiritual powers. Due to this, they often divorce or work far away from Kurain Village, often returning very late and leaving very early in the morning, or never coming back at all. This, she says, could be why Pearl acts the way she does when it comes to love.

Speaking of which, Pearly  is totally and utterly convinced that Phoenix Wright, an attorney she befriends once she is presented with Maya’s magatama, and Maya are a couple, destined to be together forever and ever until the end of time and infinity. To show this, she refers to Wright as Maya's "special someone”, and whenever she sees Mr. Wright with another woman, she assumes he’s being unfaithful toward her and becomes very upset, glaring at the ace attorney or slapping him. (When Pearl gets riled up, she gets riled up- she even managed to tell off Franziska von Karma, a German prosecutor. This left said prosecutor speechless.) This has proven to sometimes knock him out. She usually feels guilty afterwards, however, but will most likely still be miffed.

Pearl looks up to Maya a great deal and wishes to be like her someday, despite her spiritual powers being stronger than her cousin’s. She even wanted to grow her hair out like her, but her mother did not allow this. Now that she’s away from her mother, though, Pearl might just do that… Once she gets over the fear of the punishment she may receive if she were ever to run into Morgan here, that is.

“…!” Pearl knew the world worked in strange, mysterious ways. As did the dead. So, the only big question to answer right now was…

“Am I… d… dead?”

The brunette pinched her cheek and yelped. Nope, she was very much still alive. So then… where was she? Getting out of the bed she’d been laying in, she realized she wasn’t wearing her usual spirit medium attire. At first, she panicked, looking around frantically, but she soon found that it was folded neatly on the floor. Placing a hand over her heart she sighed in relief.

“Oh, yes, I put them away last night…” She glanced at the window. “– Oh, it’s light out already! I have to hurry up…!”
Crawling out of bed, now not paying mind to her surroundings, she grabbed her clothes. Something struck her as odd, though. Next to her clothes was a backpack. She knew it wasn’t hers, so, why was it there? An idea came to her- she could take the bag with her and ask around to see if she could find the owner! With this in mind, she changed quickly, though it wasn’t until she was fully dressed that she realized something else was wrong…

“...*Gasp!* Where’s my magatama?!” She wrapped her hands around her neck. The magatama was attached to a necklace and was always worn by spirit mediums- especially those in training. It couldn’t be lost…could it? Pearl patted herself down. Nope, the magatama had not somehow fallen into her clothes. This only caused her to grow more frantic than before. That was something that every Mystic had! She never took it off- never! How could it be lost?!

She now searched the room, looking at every nook and cranny until she slumped down against the wall in defeat. Tears began streaming down her cheeks and numb hands reached up to them in response, rubbing her eyes. Between hics and sobs and the tears blurring her vision, causing the scenery around her to take the shape of a malformed blob in her eyes, composed of random colors, Pearl just barely noticed the bag from the corner of her eye. However, it wasn’t until she had calmed down quite some time later that she had really registered that it was there.

She blinked. “…Oh, that’s right!” A hopeful gleam shone in her eyes, “I haven’t checked…!”

Scrambling over to the bag, she quickly and clumsily unzipped it, and much to her surprise, there laid the necklace. Small hands held it up. Good, it was in one piece!

She donned the necklace not a moment later, zipped up the bag, and headed out. After all, the bag wasn’t hers! Despite the fact something that washers had been inside the bag did not entail that it belonged to her! Plus, that was stealing, and she doubted Mr. Nick and Mystic Maya would like to find her in court any time soon!

[ A brunette child sat down, under the shade of a tree, and tapped the screen, brows furrowed in concentration. A Spoink bounced behind her, not seeming to understand what it's Trainer was so concentrated on. ]

Hello? Is this p…po…pokeh…pokehgi...gi…gi-ear….thing working properly? [ Pearl moved her hand to her mouth and bit down on her thumb. ] I overheard an old man explaining it to someone else, but I’m not quite sure I understood what he sa-

[ The Spoink jumps forward all of a sudden, smiling. Pearl is startled, but can’t help but giggle. ] I was also given this very nice…uhm… [ she bites her thumb again. ] Poh-key-mom? Apparently, this one is called a S…Spoi…S-poh-ink, and said to never take the pearl off its head, and to make sure it never stops bouncing! They didn’t say why though… [ She looks back over to the Pokemon. ] How will it sleep if it can never stop bouncing…?

[ turning her attention back to the screen now! She has a very important message for two very important people! Sadly, she doesn’t know they probably aren’t here. ] Mystic Maya, Mr. Nick, if you’re out there...

[ Her demeanor is now serious and determined, but the look in her eyes can show you just how scared she is. ]
